‘Kantha is a type of embroidery craft in the eastern regions of the Indian subcontinent. Vintage saris are stacked on each other and hand-stitched to make a thin piece of cushioned material’
These are made from Re-Purposed Kantha pieces which are lovingly stitched into sheets of material ready for creating.
They are so versatile and have a deep shirred waistband for comfort and two deep side pockets.
Please be mindful that the original material for these has had a previous life in an Indian home and as such may have some slight imperfections or show signs of wear and tear or repair. This only adds to the charm and the history of the original materials.
